DONEGAL TRIP

The first weekend away will be to St John's point in Donegal for the May bank holiday weekend. The annual trip to the North is a destination that offers great diving for new and experienced divers in an ideal location for everyone to become well accustomed.

NEW MEMBERS NIGHT

DIVE IRELAND 2008
A special draw has been set up for clubs to enter with the prize being a portable Coltri Sub Compressor. The draw is only open to CFT and BSAC clubs with one entry per club. To enter the draw clubs must pre book six tickets for the show. Again only one entry per club. Pre booked tickets are £6 and can be bought from head office. Tickets on the door are £10.This is a great opertunity for one of our clubs to win a compressor. FOR MORE INFO ON THE SHOW SEE - www.cft.ie
MARITIME BALL
The annual Maritime Ball will take place in the Radisson SAS Hotel, Galway on Saturday 16 February. The gala event will kick off with a champagne reception, followed by a four-course meal. According to National Maritime Ball Committee, Galway Lifeboat’s 20 volunteers are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and have saved more than 70 lives at sea since 1996. The funds raised through the Maritime Ball ensure that the crew members receive the best possible training and the boat and station are maintained so the crew can continue saving lives on Galway Bay. The club will be reserving a table at this event.
