Portmagee June 2008 |
|
| 7.5 Heading for The
Skelligs |
The June bank holiday outing, was to Portmagee Co. Kerry. Ths year we were blessed with the best diving weather for some time. Those down early were treated to a dive on Skellig Michael on friday evening. and back in time for dinner at The Moorings. A 10.30am start on Saturday morning had the three boats (7.5 + 6.3 + Gearoid Morans) off to Long Island, with the afternoon dive at Cuas Diarmuide, near Bray Head. A group went for a scenic tour of the Skelligs on Saturday evening, with everyone assembling at The Moorings for a general debrief. The three boats went to The Skelligs on Sunday, and stayed out all day diving on both rocks. Monday's dive was at Cuas Diarmuide and then it was time for the journey home.Twenty five divers, plus a dozen non-divers were down for the weekend and by all accounts everyone had a good time. |
