Winter diving 2012

GSAC diving continued through winter 2012 as always and those who were prepared for the cold were rewarded with some great scenery and vis at times. Our shallow hub rib An Bád Thanaí came into its own in the winter as always. It's so easy to launch and retrieve and perfect for the smaller groups and shorter journeys to the dive site that are typical of winter.

Water temperature is about 8C these days, which is not bad relatively speaking for winter in these parts. Lots of people in dry suits of course, but the hard core wetsuit divers are still out in force, there's no stopping them.
